The data that is used in profiles

This category of data requires a user to provide his or her name, phone number, date of birth, and email address. In addition, a user may voluntarily provide the other data that is available in the interface of the Website. For instance, this may be the user's photographs, information about his or her education, favorite activities, and other data that is provided to the Website voluntarily and in accordance to the possibilities provided by the Website's interface that may be changed from time to time. Please note, any data that is provided to us within the relevant fields (placeholders) of the profile (a personal page on a Website) shall be publicly available. By fulfilling the relevant placeholders in the profile section you agree and acknowledge this.

We may use industry-standard platform-level machine learning model to show you useful and relevant offers tailored to your profile. We do not build such model so that it can learn, memorize, or is able to reproduce personal data.

For Fulfillment of Contractual Obligations and Legal Requirements

This mainly refers to the execution and enforcement of the contractual obligations under the Terms of Use. However, this purpose also means the use of personal data for scams and fraud prevention on the Website. You can find out more on these matters in relevant sections on the Website. For this purpose, we may also use the personal data to share it with third parties but for the purposes to comply with the law (share data with law enforcement agencies, including based on the legally binding request) and for dispute resolution (under the Terms of Use).

4. Retention of Data

The personal data is by default retained for a period required for the fulfillment of our obligations under this Policy or Terms of Use. However, in case the law provides for a longer period than those outlined hereby, the data will be retained for a longer period.

The Website may retain certain information even upon deleting a profile from it. This is caused by the different obligations such as payment processing, other financial matters, dispute resolution and settlement, anti-money laundering requirements, and others.

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") reflects the standards and our commitment to the well-being of every person who uses our Platform. This Policy sets out the rules that every user of Romantico.Love ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our") must follow. It explains who may use the Platform, what behaviour and content are permitted, and the steps we take to keep the community safe.

We strive to ensure that Romantico.Love remains a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all users. As not every situation can be addressed in this Policy, the categories and examples set out below are illustrative and not exhaustive. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, determine whether any content or conduct violates this Policy, the Terms of Use, applicable law, or the safety, integrity, or intended purpose of the Platform.

1. Eligibility

1.1. Age Requirement and Verification

Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Romantico.Love. It is a violation of our Terms of Use and this Policy for anyone under the age of 18 to access or use the Platform in any way.

To ensure these requirements are followed, we invest heavily in technology, analytics and human moderation. Where we have reasonable grounds to believe that a user may be underage, or where verification is otherwise required, we conduct age verification. For this purpose, we partner with Persona, a trusted third-party identity verification provider. The process works as follows:

1. The user is notified of the verification requirement and provided with a secure link to Persona's verification flow.

2. The user is required to securely submit a real-time selfie and an image of a valid government-issued identification document.

3. The user has fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of notification to complete the verification.

4. Access to the Platform remains suspended until the verification process has been successfully completed.

5. If verification is unsuccessful, all of the user's content will be removed from the Platform and the user's access will remain denied.

We also actively promote voluntary verification among users to further protect minors and increase the overall integrity of our community.

1.2. Legal Capacity

In addition to meeting the minimum age requirement, users must have full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to them. Users may not access the Platform if they are legally restricted from doing so in their jurisdiction.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Romantico.Love in any way that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive or exploitative.

2.1. Fraud, Scam, Financial Misconduct and Impersonation

Romantico.Love has a zero-tolerance position on fraud, scam activity, and any misuse of the Platform for unlawful financial purposes.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform. This includes, without limitation:

• using the Platform to defraud, scam, deceive, or financially exploit any user or third party;

• engaging in romance scams, advance-fee fraud, investment fraud, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or any similar deceptive scheme;

• requesting, soliciting, or obtaining money, financial information, or anything of value from another user under false or misleading pretences;

• impersonating another person;

• using a payment card, bank account, or other payment method that belongs to another person;

• using the Platform for money laundering, international money transfers, or any other form of financial crime.

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission also  cautions  that a common red flag for scams is when individuals urge you to move away from the communication platform quickly and connect via personal email or social media accounts. Romantico.Love has a zero-tolerance position on sexual exploitation and the facilitation of human trafficking or sex trafficking.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform. This includes, without limitation:

• using the Platform to offer, promote, solicit, or facilitate prostitution, escort services, sex trafficking, or any exchange of sexual services for money, goods, services, or other consideration;

• using any pornographic content and sharing intimate or sexual images of another person without that person's consent (commonly known as "revenge porn" or non-consensual intimate imagery);

• any conduct that facilitates, supports, or is connected to human trafficking or modern slavery in any form, including but not limited to forced labour, debt bondage, forced marriage, or exploitation of children.

Statement on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficing

The Romantico.Love does not tolerate any modern slavery and/or human trafficking on our platform or within our partnership chains. We are not obliged under the UK Modern Slavery Act, Australia Modern Slavery Act, and the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act. However, we actively work to prevent any instances of modern slavery and/or human trafficking, striving to create a secure space for everyone on Romantico.Love.

What steps do we take to detect and prevent Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking on the Romantico.Love?

• encouraging, glorifying, or threatening violence, self-harm, or harm to others;

• using the Platform to abuse, target, or retaliate against any person, whether or not that person is a user of the Platform.

2.4. Privacy and Personal Data Misuse

Romantico.Love does not tolerate the misuse of personal data or any conduct that interferes with the privacy rights of users or third parties.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform, including, without limitation:

• sharing personal data on any public page of the Platform;

• collecting, scraping, monitoring, copying, storing, processing, or otherwise obtaining personal data from the Platform;

• using another person's personal information in a manner that is not authorised by that person or permitted by law;

• interfering with, accessing, or attempting to access another user's personal data without lawful authority;

• violating another person's privacy through surveillance, unauthorised disclosure, or any other intrusive conduct.

2.5. Spam and Unauthorised Commercial Activity

Romantico.Love prohibits spam, unsolicited communications, or the use of the Platform for unauthorised commercial purposes.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform, including, without limitation:

• sending chain letters, junk messages, commercial spam, or other unsolicited communications;

• using the Platform for advertising, marketing, solicitation, lead generation, or other commercial activity without our prior written consent;

• promoting third-party products, services, schemes, or websites through the Platform without authorisation;

• using the Platform to divert users to external services, websites, or commercial offers without our permission.

2.6. Security, Technical Abuse, and Unauthorised Access

Romantico.Love does not permit any conduct that compromises the security, integrity, or proper functioning of the Platform.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform, including, without limitation:

• interfering with, disrupting, damaging, or overburdening the Platform or any network or system connected to it;

• introducing malware, viruses, malicious code, spyware, or any other harmful technology;

• attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account, system or data;

• using technical means to collect data from the Platform or reproduce the Platform, in whole or in part, without our authorisation;

• creating or using technical features, redirects, scripts, bots, or other tools that interfere with the operation of the Platform or redirect users away from it without permission.

Romantico.Love does not permit any use of the Platform that infringes someones intellectual property rights or misappropriates the Platform's content, design, or technology.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform, including, without limitation:

• infringing any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, design right, or other intellectual property right belonging to Romantico.Love or any third party;

• copying, reproducing, framing, mirroring, modifying, or duplicating any part of the Platform, including its design, code, branding, or content, without our prior written consent;

• using the Platform or its content to create products or services that compete with Romantico.Love;

• posting or using any material on the Platform in a way that infringes the intellectual property or proprietary rights of another person.

2.8. Unlawful Use and Other Prohibited Activity

Romantico.Love does not permit any use of the Platform that is unlawful, unauthorised, or inconsistent with the safe and intended purpose of the Service.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform, including, without limitation:

• accessing or using the Platform from a jurisdiction where such access or use is illegal or unauthorised;

• using the Platform in breach of applicable law or regulation;

• using the Platform to disclose, retain, transmit, or otherwise handle classified, restricted, or other sensitive non-public information;

• create multiple profiles;

• engaging in any conduct that causes harm to users, third parties, or the Platform, even if that conduct is not expressly listed in this Policy.

Where appropriate, we may treat the breaches described above as violations of the Policy even where the relevant conduct takes place outside the Website.

3. Prohibited Content

"User Content" means any information, communication, text, image, video, profile information, message, media, or other material that a user uploads, publishes, sends, transmits, or otherwise makes available on or through the Platform.

You must not use, post, share, or otherwise make available on Romantico.Love any content that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or exploitative.

• pornographic or sexually explicit content, including nudity, depictions of sexual acts, exposed genitalia, or graphic sexual imagery;

• any content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child, including child sexual abuse or exploitation material and grooming;

• non-sexual images of unaccompanied minors in public content

We proactively detect, remove, and report CSEA content. When we identify potential CSEA material, we report it to the relevant law enforcement authorities and to organisations such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or equivalent bodies, in accordance with applicable law.

3.2. Human trafficking, modern slavery and commercial sexual exploitation

Romantico.Love prohibits any content that promotes, advertises, solicits, facilitates, or otherwise supports:

• sex trafficking, human trafficking, modern slavery, forced labour, or other exploitative practices;

• the recruitment, transportation, harbouring, control, or exploitation of a person for financial or personal gain;

• prostitution, escort services, or commercial sexual services;

• the exchange of sexual services for money, goods, services, or other consideration.

3.3. Hate Speech and Discrimination

Romantico.Love does not permit hateful or discriminatory content. This includes, without limitation:

• content that promotes racism, discrimination, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm against any group or individual based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;

• defamatory, false, obscene, abusive, objectionable or seriously misleading content used to harass, target, or harm others.

Romantico.Love prohibits violent, extremist, or otherwise dangerous content. This includes, without limitation:

• content that promotes, supports, glorifies, or advocates terrorism, terrorist organisations, extremist ideology, or violent criminal activity;

• graphic or realistic depictions of killing, maiming, torture, abuse, gore, or cruelty involving people or animals;

• content that encourages, glorifies, or incites violence;

• threats of violence or content intended to intimidate through the use or depiction of weapons;

• content that encourages self-harm, suicide, or harm to others;

• instructional content relating to violent wrongdoing or other serious illegal activity, including how to make weapons, evade law enforcement, violate another person's privacy, or create or distribute malware.

• content that infringes, violates, or misappropriates any third-party intellectual property right including, but not limited to, any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral right, privacy right, right of publicity, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right;

• unauthorised copies of copyrighted works, pirated software, or links to pirated material;

• content that promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's copyrighted work or protected by other intellectual property rights, such as providing pirated computer programs or links to them, providing information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices, or providing pirated images, audio or video, or links to pirated images, audio or video files.

3.7. Spam, Advertising, and Other Prohibited Content

Romantico.Love prohibits spam, unauthorised advertising, and other content that is harmful or inconsistent with the safe use of the Platform. This includes, without limitation:

• сontent depicting or promoting smoking, alcohol consumption, or drug use;

• unsolicited commercial content, advertisements, sweepstakes, pyramid schemes, or any other form of spam.

4. Enforcement of this Policy

4.1. Reporting mechanisms and moderation

We maintain reporting and moderation measures designed to detect, review, and address prohibited content and conduct on the Platform.

2. Moderation

   We use a combination of Al technology and human moderation to supervise the content and behavior on the platform and to enforce this Policy effectively. This hybrid system allows us to act swiftly and fairly, balancing automated scalability with contextual understanding.

   Where we determine that content or conduct may violate this Policy, we may take appropriate action in accordance with our Terms and internal enforcement procedures.

Where we identify a violation of this Policy, we may take appropriate enforcement action in accordance with our Terms and internal procedures. Such action may include, without limitation:

• removal of prohibited content;

• user warnings;

• temporary or permanent blocking of accounts;

• removal from the platform;

• reporting to public organizations or law enforcement.

Users may appeal a moderation or enforcement decision relating to their content or account. If you disagree with a decision made in relation to your content or account, you may submit an appeal through the "Removed Content" section in your profile settings or contact Customer Support at support@Romantico.Love.

4.2 Misuse of reporting mechanisms

If a user repeatedly misuses the reporting mechanisms available on the Platform, we reserve the right, after issuing a prior warning, to suspend the processing of complaints submitted by user through those reporting mechanisms for a reasonable period of time.

When deciding whether such a suspension is appropriate, we may take into account:

• the total number of manifestly unfounded reports concerning users' activities and/or content submitted within 14 (fourteen) days following your first manifestly unfounded report;

• the proportion of such reports in relation to the total number of reports submitted within that same 14 (fourteen)-day period;

• the gravity of the manifestly unfounded reports, including the nature of the relevant content and its consequences; and

• where it can be identified, the intention in submitting those reports.

Romantico.Love aims to ensure that all complaints are handled fairly, consistently, efficiently, and within reasonable timeframes, and that complaints are used as a source of feedback for ongoing operational and service improvement.

This Policy may be reviewed and updated by the Romantico.Love from time to time to reflect changes in Romantico.Love operations, services, or legal and compliance requirements.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to complaints submitted to Romantico.Love by users, partners, and other third parties in connection with Romantico.Love services, operations, communications, or other business interactions. It covers complaints relating to the quality of service, billing matters, onboarding, account-related issues, communications, and other aspects of Romantico.Love relationship with users, partners and third parties.

3. Definition of a Complaint

For the purposes of this Policy, a Complaint means any clear expression of dissatisfaction made by a user, partner, or other third party in relation to Romantico.Love services, operations, communications, billing, onboarding, account handling, content-related issues, moderation decisions, or other business interactions, where the complainant seeks review or resolution by Romantico.Love.

A Complaint may relate to, among other things, product or service quality, delays, errors, account restrictions, billing concerns, onboarding decisions, communication issues, content handling, moderation actions, or other actions or conduct of Romantico.Love that may have adversely affected the complainant.

To be reviewed under this Policy, a Complaint should be submitted in a sufficiently clear and detailed form and should, where applicable, include:

• the name of the complainant and, if relevant, the company or organisation represented;

• contact details;

• a description of the issue or concern;

• the relevant dates, timeframe, or circumstances in which the issue arose;

• supporting information, materials, or evidence sufficient to identify and assess the issue, including, where available, screenshots, correspondence, transaction details, links, references, or a clear factual description of the relevant events.

The following are generally not treated as Complaints under this Policy:

• general questions or requests for information;

• routine service requests that do not express dissatisfaction;

• feature requests or technical reports submitted without a stated concern regarding Romantico.Love services or conduct;

• general, unsupported, or insufficiently substantiated allegations that do not include enough detail or supporting information to allow Romantico.Love to identify the relevant issue, facts, or circumstances;

• incomplete, unclear, or anonymous submissions that do not provide sufficient information for review;

• abusive, threatening, offensive, or bad-faith communications;

• matters that are subject to separate procedures, including legal claims, data protection requests, security incident reports, or reports of unlawful content or misconduct, unless such matter also includes a Complaint regarding Romantico.Love handling of the issue; and

• matters that are subject to a separate investigation by the Romantico.Love Investigation Team or any other dedicated investigation, review, or enforcement procedure operated by Romantico.Love, provided that such matters will be handled under the applicable separate procedure and will not be subject to the response timeframes set out in Section 6 of this Policy unless Romantico.Love expressly determines otherwise.

4. Submission of a Complaint

A Complaint must be submitted to Romantico.Love in writing through the official channels designated for that purpose. Complaints should be submitted to Romantico.Love support email address at support@Romantico.Love.help.

A Complaint should be submitted as provided in Section 3, in a clear and sufficiently detailed form to allow the Romantico.Love to understand the matter, identify the relevant facts, and conduct an appropriate review.

Where reasonably necessary, Romantico.Love may request further information, clarification, or supporting documentation.

5. Review and Handling of Complaints

Upon receipt, a Complaint will be reviewed by Romantico.Love and, where appropriate, recorded in Romantico.Love internal complaints register. Romantico.Love will assess the nature of the Complaint, review the relevant facts and circumstances, and determine whether further information, clarification, or supporting materials are required.

Where appropriate, the Complaint may be referred to the relevant internal team or responsible person for further review, investigation, and resolution, depending on the nature of the matter.

Following its review, Romantico.Love will provide a response to the complainant and, where appropriate, set out any action taken or proposed in relation to the Complaint.

6. Response Timeframes

Romantico.Love will aim to acknowledge receipt of a Complaint within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Romantico.Love will review and handle each Complaint as promptly as reasonably possible and will aim to provide a substantive response within 7-14 business days, depending on the nature, complexity, and circumstances of the matter.

For the avoidance of doubt, where a matter is handled under a separate investigation by the Romantico.Love Investigation Team or any other dedicated investigation, review, or enforcement procedure, the response timeframes set out in this Section 6 shall not apply unless Romantico.Love expressly confirms that they do apply.

Where additional time is required, Romantico.Love may request further information from the complainant or notify the complainant that additional time is needed to complete the review.

7. Escalation of Complaints

If a complainant is not satisfied with the outcome of a Complaint or believes that the matter has not been addressed appropriately, the complainant may request that the Complaint be escalated for further review.

Upon escalation, the Complaint may be referred to an appropriate senior employee, manager, or other responsible person within Romantico.Love who was not primarily responsible for the initial handling of the matter, where reasonably practicable.

Following the escalation review, Romantico.Love will provide a further response to the complainant, setting out its final position or any further action considered appropriate in the circumstances.

8. Recordkeeping

Romantico.Love may maintain an internal complaints register in relation to Complaints received under this Policy, including information relating to the nature of the Complaint, the review undertaken, and the outcome or resolution of the matter.

Records of Complaints may be retained for such period as Romantico.Love reasonably considers necessary for operational, legal, compliance, and audit purposes.

Romantico.Love may use information derived from Complaints to identify recurring issues, improve its services and internal processes, and support the effective handling of future Complaints.

Our Trust&Safety team will review each fully and properly completed appeal in diligent and non-partial way and will notify users about final decision. There may be some delays in making a decision due to the level of workload.
